What you are buying
A winning bid buys the right to place your logo on one named surface of a real Skoda Kushaq for this campaign. Brand My Skoda is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Škoda Auto a.s.
How bidding is funded
There is no account and no card processor. Your first bid on a panel takes a deposit of 20% of that bid (never below the published floor), paid in cryptocurrency through NOWPayments: you choose the coin at checkout (USDT, USDC, BTC, ETH, SOL and many others) and send exactly the amount shown to a one-off address. Network and processing fees are added on top of the deposit. That deposit bonds you to the panel. Every later bid on the same panel from the same browser session is free and instant, up to the published bond ceiling.
A bid is not placed until the processor reports the deposit confirmed (or it is confirmed in the sandbox simulator on non-production deploys). Closing the checkout tab does not lose a payment that already landed — settlement is pulled from the processor until it confirms. Sending less than the amount shown, a different coin, or paying after the checkout has lapsed does not place a bid; what arrived is queued for a manual refund instead.
The funding goal
This campaign is all-or-nothing. Leading bids across every panel must sum to at least $20,000 within 60 days of the auction opening — roughly the price of the car. If they do, bidding closes and winners pay the remainder as usual. If they do not, the campaign fails: every confirmed deposit is refunded in full, including the people who were leading. Nothing is forfeited for missing the goal.
If you win
When bidding closes, the leading bonded bidder owes the remainder: winning bid minus what already landed on their deposit. Pay it from the dashboard by the stated deadline (a floor, not a stopwatch — with nobody on the site it advances on the next visit or the daily cron).
If you win and do not pay the remainder in time, the deposit is forfeited. The panel is then offered to the next-highest bonded bidder. They may pass without losing their deposit.
If you do not win
Losing deposits are refunded through NOWPayments, in the coin they were paid in, after the panel is actually sold or the auction is reopened. They are not refunded while a winner still has a chance to pay. Refunds are sent by the operator from the processor's dashboard, not automatically by this site; give an email on the bid form if you want to be told when yours goes out.
Bidders are anonymous
The bid board does not name you: NOWPayments does not report the wallet a payment came from, so bids show as anonymous. Pay from a wallet you control — a refund goes back the way the deposit came, and an exchange deposit address may not credit it. Crypto payments are final — there is no chargeback.
Your session is the credential
An anonymous cookie identifies you. There is no login. Clearing cookies, switching browsers, or using a private window starts a new bidder who cannot spend an existing bond. Keep the browser you bid from.
Email on the bid form is optional and only used to notify you (outbid, win, remainder due, walk-down offer, refund). It is not a login.
Operator rights
The operator may close a panel, extend or shorten a deadline, revert a mistaken state, or refuse a placement that is illegal, defamatory, or clearly not a logo. Revenue figures in admin tools count settled remainders and forfeited deposits.
